O Colégio dos meus filhotes, no âmbito da comemoração do Dia da Mãe, convidou-me a fazer um pequeno workshop com os alunos do 2º ciclo. Tanto a turma de 5º ano do meu filho, como a turma de 6º ano mostraram-se super entusiasmados com a actividade e mostraram serem bastante habilidosos. A eles cabe todo o mérito, pois eu apenas levei a receita e expliquei como se procedia. O resto foi feito por eles! A disposição dos cake pops coube à Professora Isa, que montou um lindo bouquet doce. O fotógrafo de serviço foi o Dr. Romão a quem agradeço as fotos.
Eu gosto muito de crianças, por isso foi muito divertido ver o espírito de partilha entre colegas, pois todos deram a vez para que todos pudessem amassar os donuts, todos decoraram, partiram bolachas e todos comeram e raparam as tigelas! :-) Claro que a certa altura o chocolate começou a falar mais alto e já havia uns gulosos cobertos de chocolate, mas muito bem dispostos!
No dia seguinte, durante a festa do Dia da Mãe, estes doceiros mostraram com muito orgulho os doces que fizeram e com muito prazer os comeram.
Muito obrigado ao Colégio de Alfragide, pela oportunidade que me deram de ensinar aos rapazes e raparigas do 2º ciclo a fazer este miminhos para eles e para as suas mães.
My kid's school, within the celebration of Mother's Day, invited me to make a small workshop with the students from the 5th and 6th grade. Both the class of 5th year of my son, as the 6th grade class showed up super excited about the activity and shown to be quite skilled. They deserve all the credit because I just took the recipe and explained how they should proceed. The rest was done by them! The arrangement of the cake pops made by Teacher Isa, who made a beautiful sweet bouquet. The photographer was Dr. Romao whom I thank for the photos.
I like children very much, so it was fun to see the spirit of sharing among colleagues because all gave time for everyone to knead the donuts, all decorated, set off crackers and ate the leftovers in the bowl! :-) Of course at some point the chocolate began to speak louder and had some kids were covered in chocolate, but they were so happy! And that's the way I love to see the kids!
The next day, during the celebration of Mother's Day, these confectioners showed with great pride the cake pops and the donuts and ate it with great pleasure.
Thank you to the Colégio de Alfragide for the opportunity they gave me to teach these boys and girls, to make this treat for them and their mothers.
Receita dos Oreo Cake Pops:
511 gramas de bolachas Oreo
227 gramas de queijo Philadelphia
Candy melts, chocolate ou glacé
Confetis coloridos
Pauzinhos para cake pops
Reduzir as bolachas a pequeníssimos pedaços (quase pó).
Colocar numa tigela e misturar com o queijo. Mexer até se obter uma pasta homogénea e grossa (poderá ser preciso juntar um pouco mais de bolacha moída).
Fazer bolas do tamanho de uma noz e levar ao congelador durante 5 minutos.
Derreter a cobertura.
Mergulhar a ponta do pauzinho na cobertura e espetar no cake pop.
Levar novamente ao congelador.
Cobrir os cake pops com a cobertura, polvilhar com os confetis e espetar num bloco de esferovite para secar.
Oreo Cake Pops Recipe :
511 grams of Oreo cookies
227 grams of cheese Philadelphia
Candy melts, chocolate or glacé

Reduce the oreo to tiny pieces (almost powder).
Place in a bowl and mix with the cheese. Stir until a thick and smooth paste (you may need to add a little more ground oreos).
Make balls the size of a walnut and freeze for 5 minutes.
Melt the candy melts or the chocolate or the glacé. Dip the tip of the stick to cover and stick the cake pop.
Place in the freezer for another 5 minutes.
Cover the cake pops with the candy melts, sprinkle with confetti and stick it in a block of styrofoam to dry.
Receita dos Mini-Donuts:
1 copo de farinha
½ copo de açúcar
1 colher de sopa de fermento em pó
1 ovo
½ copo de leite
½ colher de chá de baunilha
4 colheres de sopa de óleo
Misturar os ingredientes secos.
Juntar o ovo, a baunilha e o leite e bater vigorosamente durante uns minutos.
Adicionar o óleo e bater durante mais uns minutos.
Aquecer a máquina de donuts e fazer os donuts.
Deixar arrefecer e decorar a gosto.
Mini-Donuts Recipe:
1 cup flour
½ cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 egg
½ cup milk
½ teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons oil
Mix the dry ingredients.
Add the egg, vanilla and milk and beat vigorously for a few minutes.
Add the oil and beat for a few more minutes.
Heat the mini-donut machine and make the donuts.
Allow to cool and decorate to taste.
